Collage of Lives draws inspiration from roadside traffic signs located at the entrance to a residential community. Traffic signs function as instruments of social order, regulating movement and shaping everyday behaviour through a system of rules and restrictions.

In this work, the simplified figures and objects found on traffic signs are released from their utilitarian roles and reimagined as living characters. No longer symbols of instruction, they become participants in a shared social landscape. Arranged across a stepped structure, these fragmented scenes form a collective portrait of contemporary life—a living theatre in which countless individual stories, identities, and ways of being coexist.

The work reflects on the relationship between social order and personal freedom, inviting viewers to reconsider how individuals navigate, perform, and negotiate their place within society.
